About the program

Big ideas.
Real teamwork

FIRST® LEGO® League is a global program created by FIRST® and LEGO® Education. Students work in teams to explore real-world challenges, develop original ideas, build and program robots, and present their solutions. Creativity, collaboration, and confidence are just as important as technical skills.

Since June 2026, Aurora Math ry has been the national operator of FIRST® LEGO® League in Finland, succeeding Robotiikka- ja tiedekasvatus ry. We deliver the program from classroom projects and regional tournaments to the national championship.

Build

Every kid finds their strength

Team missions aren't just about building robots - they reveal talents kids didn't know they had. The builder, the creatives, the strategist, the presenter: FLL creates space for every role to matter.

Celebrate

A real project. Over real weeks

Schools rarely give students the chance to own a long-term project from start to finish. Through FLL, teams identify a real-world problem, research it, design a solution, and present it to experts.

Independence they carry for life

FLL's Core Values are a habit of mind. Teams make their own decisions, resolve their own conflicts, and take ownership of their results. They know how to lead.
